I love this simple initiative that Passaggio Wines have incorporated into their holiday wine season so much, I just have to get behind it. It reminds me of one winter where we did a considerable amount of fund raising to feed the homeless in Mannheim, Germany. Yes, homeless are everywhere.
Anyway, pleased to help and would love to try some Passaggio Wine sooner than later myself. Had it? Comment and let us know your thoughts. Meanwhile, I’ll be blogging and tweeting about this action in all the usual places.

It’s been a good year since the public humiliation and financial setbacks I experienced from the hand of the wine giant, Jackson Family Wines. This article is certainly not meant to promote the company in any positive light whatsoever.
No, instead it’s meant to praise all the forgotten and overlooked HOTTIES that, just as I, believed in the promise of a golden opportunity within the professional realm of Wine, should they be lucky enough to be chosen from well over 1000 global hopefuls.
Naw, was a load of crap and these little darlings are all the better for not having made the TOP 3, as I did back then. The top 3, as it were, are those candidates from the TOP 10 that were publically promised jobs at an open press conference. And where is my gig, I humbly ask? (sounds of crickets…)
At any rate ladies, you can bet you weren’t chosen because the judges were mostly women. Wine on…
I may be finding a way back into Wine-dom and go figure, it may be an Australian wine at that! I’m interested in a Social Media and/or Event Marketing gig. Naw, we’re not talking big money but quite possibly big passion and in the long run, life is short baby! Enjoy it while you can.
Which leads me to ponder; Has anyone tried Razor’s Edge Wine before? I haven’t found it yet in my local market. I’d love some opinions on the product if anyone has one/some. Don’t be shy!
It’s been a fun ride so far virtually hanging out with Foodie & Wino Tanya Melillo! This webisode of the 4 part series is by far the funniest. Tanya and I seem to be laughing the whole time about one thing or another. In this clip we learn what kind of man this attractive and single lady goes for as well as where to take her on a date. Tanya also reveals a brand new project which involves dinner with 5th generation winemaker Karl Wente.

Special thanks to Susanne and her friend Monika. Since living on the country in Hamburg Germany at present, internet speeds are of the stone age. Well, you get my point. A thrown rock would reach point B faster than a mouse click around here. Anyway, on occasion it’s necessary to drive the data to a neighboring town with faster internet in order to upload a 125MB file without any connection errors. Thanks again ladies!
No body and I mean nobody can Hobnob like my current guest, Wine Pro and Foodie Tanya Melillo. The Wine Time TV series continues with Part 2 (of 3 or 4 clips) of my then live Skype interview with one if the new stars of PBS’ The Winemakers Season 2, where I learned of Tanya’s exciting encounters with French Laundry’s Thomas Keller, top chefs Gary Danko and Traci des Jardins, retired Playboy and current Mayor of San Francisco Gavin Newsom and more!
I’m always excited to make new Wine Time TV shows however this next series is particularly interesting for me. This marks my first attempt at incorporating a Skype video call with the guest!
Recently I had the honor of hanging out (virtually) with top Foodie and Wino and new star talent in The Winemakers Season 2 (PBS), Tanya Melillo! In this first websode we learn a lot more about Tanya and what makes her tick. We also discover how the heck she and I even know about one another. And I finally figure out what her connection with the likes of comedian Will Ferrell, star chef’s Tom Colicchio and Rocco Dispirito are all about!
Given that Wine Time TV is currently a low to no budget production, what do you do when you really want to involve some amazing talent in the show but they live 7 hours away by car (LA -> SF) or even 12 hours by plane (Hamburg -> SF) and you can’t simply travel to meet each other for an hour or two to have an engaging interview?
That’s what my next guest (Tanya Melillo) and I managed for a first time attempt. She’s a terribly interesting Wino with lots to talk about. Yes, that’s a compliment!Tune in October 1st for Wine Time TV Webisode #5!
Wine Time TV continues with my ongoing video series. In this show we wrap up the interview featuring Sommelier James King from www.KingGroupEvents.com from San Diego California. In this episode we learn about James King’s most memorable wine experiences at home and abroad (Italy) and I share a glance hinting at my own tragic experiences while in Florence.
Welcome back to Wine Time TV.net! And as you can see we’re still milking our great interview with Sommelier James King from King’s Group Events and with much success! Thanks for the tremendous number of hits to the blog and content.
If you had only one case of wine with you while stranded on an island somewhere, what would be in it? Got an answer I can share on the show? Shoot! I know, not an easy question for many. James King managed to share his dream case with us and much more! Tune the heck in!

It’s that time again folks! Another webisode of Wine Time TV coming your way. Below, you’ll find PART 2 of the very first WTTV episode and it features Sommelier James King. In this 7 minute webisode James and I arrive at the renown Jazz club and Italian restaurant Spaghettini, in Seal Beach California and I (hopefully you too) learned a bit more about fantastic wine. Tune the heck in!
