Writers Wanted

Wine writers, that is. As life often does, once again things are changing for me. I’ve got a major move coming up and will have to bare down and focus on making money for a few months, leaving me less time for the things I enjoy doing for fun and community; like WineTimeTV.net.

So, I’m looking for wine writers or people that would like to write about wine and wine culture. I would like to spend what little time I may have on promoting the site and virally marketing the content we’re creating around here. Also, continuing producing the webisodes when interesting people cross my path is high on my list of To-do’s. Meanwhile other inspired writers will be filling in the gaps with their own informative and entertaining takes on Wine and Wine Culture.

At present Wine Time TV.net is a very good visited site with 800-1200 folks popping in daily. It’s a great platform for anyone with something relevant to share and the door is open. Contact me here if you have something to offer. I’d love to hear from you!

Todays Bargain Wine – Blauer Zweigelt

Though I’m spending a lot of time in Germany right now, I’m not a HUGE fan of German wines. Sure there are some awesome vintages out there but they are a bit out of my price range at the present.

Right now, I’m having a late lunch and enjoying a very hearty and meaty Spaghetti Bolognese. I scored on a lovely tasting (and cheap €2.49) bottle of red wine from Burgenland Osterreich, or Austria for you English peeps out there.

2008 was a particularly fine year for wines from the region however I wish this bottle was another year old and then I believe it would have an even fuller taste. For the price, I am in no way disappointed. I fear however, it must be drunk today. Good thing I’m in the mood for a good buzz…

Wine Time TV Webisode 7 feat. Tanya Melillo

It’s been a fun ride so far virtually hanging out with Foodie & Wino Tanya Melillo! This webisode of the 4 part series is by far the funniest. Tanya and I seem to be laughing the whole time about one thing or another. In this clip we learn what kind of man this attractive and single lady goes for as well as where to take her on a date. Tanya also reveals a brand new project which involves dinner with 5th generation winemaker Karl Wente.

Special thanks to Susanne and her friend Monika. Since living on the country in Hamburg Germany at present, internet speeds are of the stone age. Well, you get my point. A thrown rock would reach point B faster than a mouse click around here. Anyway, on occasion it’s necessary to drive the data to a neighboring town with faster internet in order to upload a 125MB file without any connection errors. Thanks again ladies!

Thanks for watching.
